Artist: Men-E-Faces

A Memphis-based trio consisting of singers and rappers, Jay-Pee, Tran and Smooth, released their debut album that featured artists such as: Al Kapone, DJ Squeeky, Tom Skeemask, SMK and Pastor Troy.

They are no strangers to the music scene, having been together for more than seven years and toured with 69 Boyz, Outkast, 95 South, Ice Cube, H-Town and others. In addition, the fellas appeared on Al Kapone's album and DJ Squeeky's album, where they did a song with Khujo of Goodie Mob.

Group member Jay-Pee is also a producer with a background steeped in music. He went to college and studied music theory before entering the business as an artist. Although he hooked up with Teddy Riley and Bernard Bell, those deals fell through. He headed back to Memphis, got burned again on a deal. So he decided to start his own company, Longboy Productions.
